WILKMAZZ - identity reset website and creative direction
Wilkinson & Mazzeo wanted to rebrand. They wanted to look at their practice holistically and simply decide what they were and what they weren’t. On top of that they wanted to take an old-world profession and make it new again, and maybe get nominated for a Webby along the way.
I started as a strategist and consultant, getting deep into who they were and what type of world they wanted to live in ten years on. We got further into naming and brand expression.
After all several sessions we had a new brand, a new name, and a ton of work to do. This low-fi, fun, hi-fi relaunch included conceptualizing and directing photoshoots, writing and hiring writers, getting photographers and web developers. Getting the occasional marketing consultant in and mainly just having a good time.
Any type of brand collateral was developed here, from billboards to buttons to a home page button leading the viewer to their illustrious B Corp certification.
Bauerhaus did all the comprehensive things to make this brand more real than the neighborhood 1800-injured-again law firm. We even hid a few easter eggs in the site (that you’ll probably never find, lets be real).
The tail end of these images has a few bonus outtakes from the shoot which was especially bond-building, in a ‘trust-fall’ kind of way.
